Open since 1982 in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, Pops for Champagne is the nation's most acclaimed champagne bar and Chicago's most elegant live music club. In the summer of 2006, Pops for Champagne will relocate to the historic Tree Studios on the corner of State and Ohio where it will continue to provide visitors and Chicagoans a truly unique and memorable experience. On State Street, Pops for Champagne will offer over 100 bottles of champagne and sparkling wines in a uniquely designed "champagne bar", complemented by a lower level intimate live music club, featuring the best of Chicago's live jazz entertainment. Pops Shop, adjacent to the champagne bar, will be the nation's only dedicated sparkling wine and champagne retail store, selling an eclectic selection of champagnes and sparkling wines from around the world, as well as unique service and gift items. Lunch will be served Monday through Saturday, along with a light fare menu in the evenings. Pops for Champagne on State Street will be Chicago's premier destination for after work and nighttime entertainment.
